'Wild Card' in Taekwondo at Paris Paralympics

Nepali Para Taekwondo player Bharatsingh Mahata is going to participate in Paris Para Olympics-2024. Nepal Taekwondo Association has informed that they have been selected for the Paris Para Olympics through the 'Wild Card' quota.

 He will compete in the men's less than 58 kg category under the K-44 category at the Paris Para Olympics.

Para-Taekwondo coach Kabiraj Negi Lama informed that 27-year-old Bharat from Darchula has been training in the national team for the past 18 months. . He participated in the Asian selection for the Paris Olympics in Tai'an, China and the ninth Asian Para Taekwondo tournament in Danang, Vietnam.

The number of players from Nepal who will participate in taekwondo in the Paris Para Olympics has reached two. Palesha Gobardhan has already won the competition and has been selected.
