Music Royalty Collection Society Nepal(MRCSN) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. Established in 2007 under the copyright act of Nepal that protects and administers the rights of authors and composers. It’s objectives are to collect royalties for public music performances in the first phase and the collection of mechanical royalties at a later stage. It has been successful in establishing an efficient, and effective environment for royalty collection and distribution through a small unit of administration. It has been a provisional member of CISAC since 2008.

Music Royalty Collection Society Nepal (MRCSN) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, established under the copyright law of Nepal that protects and administers the rights of authors and composers. It’s sole interest is to collectively ensure that copyright owners receive every benefit provided by the copyright act of Nepal. MRCSN monitors the use of the works concerned, negotiates with the prospective users, gives them licenses against appropriate fees and under appropriate conditions, collects such fees, and distributes them among the owners of rights.

We pay royalties to our members when their work is performed, broadcast, streamed, downloaded, reproduced, played in public, or used in film and TV. We support them by influencing policy, supporting and hosting awards & events, and investing in new technology to ensure we’re fit for the digital music age.

Music Royalty Collection Society Nepal (MRCSN) is a Digital Rights Licensing Agency based in Kathmandu – Nepal, which collects and distributes royalties to its members, music publishers, and composers.
