Building a fairer future for Nepal's music creators
To every creator who has ever poured their soul into a song, your melody is not just music. It is your legacy and your right. Nepal's creators have given the world something extraordinary. It is time for the world to give something back.
As I step into this role at MRCSN, I carry one promise: that every note you create and every lyric you write will find its way back to you — not only as applause, but as rightful remuneration. At MRCSN, our mission is simple, yet sacred: to ensure that your creativity is never taken for free. Every performance. Every stream. Every broadcast. Your rights are real, and they deserve to become real income.
I believe Nepal's creators are among the most gifted in the world. My responsibility is to ensure that this gift is honoured — legally, financially, and with the dignity it deserves. Sing. Compose. Create. The system is finally beginning to work for you.
We are investing in transparency, technology, and trust — modernising our distribution systems, strengthening our relationships with international societies, and expanding our licensing network across Nepal. The path ahead is clear: more creators registered, more royalties collected, and faster payments in the hands of those who deserve them.
